Danielle's Corner Office: Card for two Challenges

Card for two Challenges

I made this card for two challenges. One of the challenges was for a one layer card. This one was very hard for me because I love layers. I used a set of clear stamps from Inkadinkadoo for the flower and a StudioG stamp for the sentiment. I couldn't leave it plain so I colored the flower and part of the sentiment with colored pencils. I also added a border with my scoring tool. I hope this doesn't mean it's no longer a one layer card! I stamped the inside with a Thinking of You stamp, but Ididn't take a pic of that. I think I am not very good at the clean and simple philosophy, at least not today. I am not too happy with this card.

The challenges I am entering with this card are:

  1. Hi Danielle, I'm sorry you're not too happy with your card...maybe if you changed the colour in the sentiment stamp to co-ordinate with the flower you might be more pleased... you could do the butterfly yellow... or just leave the whole thing uncoloured...try it and see what you think of the effect!
Thanks so much for joining us this week and we hope to see you for our next challenge.

  4. I think possibly if the sentiment didn't have a border it would be less heavy with the large daisy.,which is fab by the way!

Thanks so much for participating, very much appreciated
